Overview
For the summer-autumn of 2017 I took a project with AKQA to work on a staff tool for H&M. The concept has been a digital swiss knife like tool, that would replace their paper catalogues which they are currently using to manage stores.
Process
We created one week sprints for each feature in order to work progressively.
Monday we've done workshops
Tuesday we rapid sketch the solution
Wednesday we prioritised and worked up with the tech
Thursday we've prototyped
Friday we've done validation and review first thing in the morning, after that quickly tweak the designs (if needed)
*Huddles with the dev team where planned around the week to handover and answer questions with the dev team which where usually one week ahead.
UX Workshop in Stockholm
We kicked the project by doing a workshop in Stockholm with H&M in order to understand the a stores need. As stakeholders we had a mix of H&M executives, the store director of all the stores in Sweden and one chief store manager of their main store in Stockholm.

Messages
Messages are designed to be an internal communication tool for the store employees. We designed it in two phases, phase one would be the basic chat functionality with core navigation (Classic and heuristic nav links) and phase two, when we add certain features like assigning tasks, pointing schedules and message templating.
Navigation to messages is done by two ways, one by opening the main hamburger menu and going to the 'Messages' section and the other is a quick link, a floating fixed icon that would be easily accessible by the thumb in the bottom right area.
Schedules
Are split by My Schedule and All Schedules. Most of the users will see first their schedule and will have a second tab with an option to see all of their colleagues shifts. There is the possibility of a manager that their job is to supervise other people that the tab order would switch.
